News: Braintree rollover crash prompts delays on Route 3, I-93

BRAINTREE, MA – A multi-vehicle rollover collision on I-93 South led to three-lane closures and significant delays on Route 3 North and I-93 South Wednesday.  The crash was reported before 3 p.m., a tweet from Massachusetts State Police revealed. News: 2 hospitalized after Chelmsford car vs. motorcycle crash

CHELMSFORD, MA – A collision involving a motorcycle and a car in Chelmsford sent two men to the hospital Sunday morning, NBC Boston said.  Chelmsford Police responded to the crash site – the Princeton Street and Richardson Road junction – before 11 a.m. The force of the collision prompted the motorcyclist, a 31-year-old man, to fall from his bike and come to rest on the ground.  The driver of the passenger car, a 76-year-old man, was hospitalized and released, while the motorcyclist was left in critical condition.  Police have not specified the contributing factors of this crash nor who had…

News: 3 hurt in car-dump truck crash in Lakeville

LAKEVILLE, MA – Three people were hospitalized after a driver of a garbage truck crashed into a car on Bedford Street along Sampsons Cove before 5 p.m. Thursday.   The impact left one of the drivers pinned, who was then extricated, NBC Boston reported.  The passenger from the truck and driver of the car were transported by ground to a hospital, while the driver of the truck was flown by helicopter to Rhode Island Trauma Center.  Officials have not released details regarding the exact cause of the crash, the severity of injuries sustained, or what the occupants' current conditions are.  Updates…

News: 2-car crash on Truman Parkway in Hyde Park claims one life

HYDE PARK, MA – One person died, and one was hospitalized after a crash between a Volkswagen Beetle and Hyundai Sonata on Truman Parkway Wednesday night.  NBC Boston said that based on a preliminary report, before midnight, a driver of the Beetle lost control of his car, which caused the Beetle to rotate and go over several lanes before a driver of a Sonata hit it.  The driver of the Sonata was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.  Massachusetts State Police said they found several beer cans inside the Volkswagen, although it is unclear if the driver – a 54-year-old man from…

LOWELL, MA – Four people were hospitalized for their injuries after a two-vehicle crash near Eagle Park Tuesday.  The collision took place at the intersection of West 6th Street and Coburn Street, WHDH reported. SAUGUS, MA – A driver of a garbage truck hit an overpass in the area of Walnut Street around 7 a.m. Friday.  According to NBC Boston, the impact of the collision caused a large hole in the metal support beams that held the bridge. News: Boy, 15, airlifted to hospital after Middleborough crash

MIDDLEBOROUGH, MA – A 15-year-old boy was hospitalized after he was struck by a car on East Grove Street after 7 p.m. Sunday.  According to Boston 25 News, the crash happened outside Hannaford’s supermarket.  The teenager was treated at the scene and airlifted to Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence. His current condition is unknown.  The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.  Part of East Grove Street closed but has reopened since.  The Middleborough Police Department is investigating the collision.
