News: Boy hospitalized after hit-and-run crash in Marlborough

MARLBOROUGH, MA – A 12-year-old boy is recovering from his injuries and is still in the hospital after getting struck by a hit-and-run driver while riding his bike.  This collision occurred near the 300 block of Boston Post Road East near the Marlborough Country Club Sunday, WCVB indicated in a report.  The child is recovering from a fractured skull and had to have surgery for brain bleeding.  Police believe the suspect was driving a gray or light green SUV, a possible Toyota Highlander. News: Car crashes into ditch off MA Turnpike in Natick

NATICK, MA – A car had crashed into a ditch along the Massachusetts Turnpike and became partially submerged early Wednesday.  Rainy weather conditions played a role in this collision, according to WHDH. News: UPS truck driver fatally strikes cyclist in Newton

NEWTON, MA – A UPS truck driver turned onto Bridge Street from Watertown Street and hit a cyclist who succumbed to fatal injuries Monday.  First responders arrived at the crash site after 5:30 p.m. and said the driver was eastbound on Watertown and the cyclist was westbound on Watertown Street at the time of the collision, WHDH reported.  The cyclist – an unidentified 57-year-old man from Newton – was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he later died.  The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.  Officials are examining the details of this deadly collision and…

News: Man, 20, killed in crash with fence in Salem

SALEM, MA – A 20-year-old man lost his life when he rammed into a house fence on Puritan Road before 6:30 p.m. Sunday.  NBC Boston indicated that based upon remarks from an eyewitness, a 12-foot pole had gone on top of the fence before entering the man’s windshield, going through his neck and extending out the rear window.  Despite life-saving measures, the driver – Kory Ouellette of Salem – was pronounced dead at the scene.  It is not exactly clear what led to this fatal collision. News: Impaired driver crashes into pole in Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY, MA – A 24-year-old man was impaired and then arrested after he crashed his red pickup truck into a utility pole on North Street around 1 a.m. Friday.  NBC Boston said that the impact caused the pole to break and lean over a northbound lane. News: Officials investigate rollover crash along Route 62 in Danvers

News: Store damaged after 3-vehicle wreck in Revere

REVERE, MA – A local store sustained some damage after a three-vehicle collision near the Mill Creek Riverwalk Monday, WHDH reported.  This incident took place in the area of Broadway and Fenno Street. News: Man, 50, dead after crash with vehicles, tree in Brookline

BROOKLINE, MA – A 50-year-old man died after he crashed his car into two other vehicles and a tree off Route 9 near Brookline Reservoir Sunday.   The collision was reported before 3 p.m., according to NBC Boston. Although it has not been confirmed, officials speculated that the 50-year-old man may have suffered a medical episode prior to colliding with the tree and other vehicles.  When the man collided with a tree, the impact had trapped him and his wife. BELMONT, MA – Two drivers were sent to the hospital when their vehicles collided, resulting in one hitting a utility pole and another crashing into a home Sunday.  This wreck occurred at the Belmont Street and White Street junction before 11:30 p.m., NBC Boston revealed. LITTLETON, MA – An SUV rolled over and landed on its side, and another car had its roof peeled back after a collision on Route 2 Thursday, officials indicated.   WHDH said Route 2 had to temporarily close but has reopened since.
