The male driver of a pickup truck sustained injuries, while the female driver of the other vehicle, a sedan, did not report being injured in the incident. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene soon after the collision occurred and rushed the injured man to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
According to a police sergeant, the man’s injuries may have been serious in nature. However, his current condition is not known at this time. The accident closed the right lane of Route 24 north for almost half an hour, and remains under investigation by Massachusetts police.
