Auto accidents: 1 dead, 2 seriously injured

One person is dead and another is clinging to life following a serious crash in Dartmouth, according to authorities. Massachusetts State Police typically support local law enforcement in investigating auto accidents, particularly when they occur on major state routes. So far, police have not indicated they intend to press charges against the driver involved in the single-vehicle crash, but their investigation into this matter is not yet complete. 

Auto accidents: driver charged in serious crash in Massachusetts

Four people are dead following a serious accident involving an SUV at an auto auction, according to Billerica authorities. It is unclear whether Massachusetts police have filed charges against the driver involved. However, it should be noted the driver was deemed responsible for seven other auto accidents in the last 30 years. 

Wrongful death claim may be filed in Massachusetts case

A Boston man accused of killing a cyclist is being held on $25,000 bail, according to court records. The 25-year-old was charged after Massachusetts authorities detained him in the suspected hit-and-run death of a 29-year-old man in the early morning of April 30. The man since turned himself in and is now awaiting trial. Apart from the criminal charges, the family of the victim appear to have grounds to file a wrongful death lawsuit in civil court. 

Car accidents: Man dead in Massachusetts

A 31-year-old man tragically lost his life after a serious crash in Cummington, according to local reports. Massachusetts State Police are typically charged with investigating car accidents that occur on state thoroughfares. So far, this investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed against either driver involved in the crash.
