Massachusetts factory worker severely injured on the job

Upon arrival, they found an employee whose arm had been severed. The victim was rushed to an area hospital for treatment. The cause of the accident was not revealed.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is currently investigating the accident, a process that could take up to six months. Reports indicate that this factory has faced two prior safety violations for leaving floor or wall openings unguarded and was fined thousands of dollars. It remains to be seen whether the company will receive another citation.
