Worcester Man Faces OUI Charges: A Worcester man, identified as Jose Felipe Galdamez Morales, 39, faces serious OUI (Operating Under the Influence) charges after a chaotic series of events on June 24.

According to a post by the Webster Police Department on Facebook, the incident unfolded in the early afternoon and involved multiple collisions with vehicles, mailboxes, and even a pedestrian.

The Southern Worcester County Communication Center received an urgent call at 2:39 p.m. from a concerned business owner. The owner reported that the driver of a silver Toyota had struck a parked vehicle in his business’s parking lot.

The driver, later identified as Morales, was seen consuming a “nip” of alcohol before hastily leaving the scene. Witnesses described Morales’s erratic driving as he swerved across the road before turning onto East Main Street.

In response to the initial call, police officers were dispatched to locate the vehicle. While en route, another report came in, stating that Morales had struck a pedestrian, several mailboxes, and another car before heading towards Lake Street.
