Truck drivers often work far from home delivering items over a large geographical area. Recently, a 24-year-old truck driver from the other side of the country had delivered his load of water pipes to their destination hundreds of miles away, and he was waiting beside the truck as it was being unloaded. During the unloading process, some of the pipes shifted and came crashing down off the truck. The young driver was caught in the avalanche and crushed.
The driver was transported to a local hospital in Illinois where he was declared dead.
