The accident took place on Feb. 3 at around 6 p.m. and involved one vehicle and multiple pedestrians. The three pedestrians were attempting to cross the road at a designated crosswalk when they were reportedly hit by the driver. The three victims suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, but one of the individuals was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the incident for treatment of an apparent brain injury.
The current condition of the victims is not known at this time. The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the accident. The wreck is still under investigation by Massachusetts police, and the driver may face potential citations for their involvement in the accident.
Although none of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries, they may still have the right to seek monetary compensation for their injuries. Compensation could be used by the hospitalized individual to pay for any of the hospital bills incurred because of the accident, as well as help pay any bills if an individual is unable to work. Hopefully, all of the victims of the accident will be able to focus on healing and returning to their normal routines instead of dwelling on the pedestrian accident.
