Police: Massachusetts college student killed in drunk driving crash

A short distance north of Boston sits Gordon College, where students are mourning the loss of a freshman killed by an allegedly drunken driver. The 18-year-old from Middleborough was on Route 44 in southeastern Massachusetts at about two in the morning this past Saturday when the collision occurred. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the Lakeville accident, police said. The other driver, a 23-year-old woman from Middleborough, was driving a Dodge Ram pick-up.
