On August 25, a pedestrian accident in Methuen left two people with injuries, reportedly. While one of the pedestrians suffered minor injuries, the other pedestrian suffered major head injuries, authorities stated. According to the Methuen Police Department, the accident occurred when a 74-year-old man was driving a Dodge Avenger in the parking lot of a hospital and lost control of the vehicle, striking the two pedestrians, ages 74 and 77.
