SAUGUS, MA – A 62-year-old man was sent to an area hospital when an SUV and sedan rolled over and crashed into the Boston Market in Saugus Monday.  This collision happened before 7:30 p.m. along Route 1, according to NBC Boston.  Upon arrival, officials discovered that the sedan was unoccupied and indicated that several people were trapped inside their vehicles. While unconfirmed, it seems the driver could have fled the scene. The SUV driver faces the following charges: “negligent operation, driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, and possession of a Class A substance.”  No additional information…

SAUGUS, MA – A driver of a garbage truck hit an overpass in the area of Walnut Street around 7 a.m. Friday.  According to NBC Boston, the impact of the collision caused a large hole in the metal support beams that held the bridge. In addition, traffic delays were prompted, and two right lanes were blocked.   At the time of reporting, Walnut Street’s westbound off-ramp and the left, right, and center lanes reopened.  The driver of the truck sustained unspecified injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.  Repairs will be conducted to the bridge.  If you were involved in…
