News: Woman dead after getting hit by car in Westwood

WESTWOOD, MA – A woman’s life was claimed after she was struck by a car on University Avenue Thursday.  According to NBC Boston, officials believe the woman was walking near the I-95 South ramp when she was hit.  First responders were first dispatched before 10 a.m. Medics came to the woman’s aid and then transported her to a hospital, where she later died.  The driver remained at the scene and will not be facing charges.  Our newsroom will post more details as they become available. News: 3 hurt after driver crashes into Grafton home

GRAFTON, MA – Three people were injured as a car crashed into a home in Grafton Wednesday.  The collision took place near Millbury Street and Providence Road, WHDH reported. It is unclear what caused the driver of a Lexus SUV to drive into the home.  There were two occupants, a married couple, inside the home at the time of the collision. News: Child, 12, hurt in Fall River bus crash

FALL RIVER, MA – A 12-year-old child was hospitalized after a bus collided with a power pole and crashed into a house Monday.  The incident took place around 7 a.m. on Charles Street, NBC Boston reported. As seen in video footage, the bus was on the curb and rested upon the house.  The 12-year-old kid was taken to a hospital for a minor back injury. Several students and the bus monitor and driver appear to have been unharmed.  The driver was cited for a marked lane violation and received an additional unspecified citation.  It is uncertain if there was anyone…

News: Man hospitalized after Scituate pin-in crash

SCITUATE, MA – A man was airlifted to a hospital following a rollover crash that took place before 3:45 p.m. Sunday.  The collision occurred near the 100 block of Border Street, WCVB reported.  The driver of a passenger vehicle was trapped inside his car after it rolled over. Thankfully he was able to get out thanks to aid from emergency crews. News: Two tractor-trailer crash on Massachusetts Turnpike causes delays

OXFORD, MA – Traffic delays lingered, and two lanes were blocked due to a two-tractor-trailer crash Thursday.  According to NBC Boston, the collision took place on the Massachusetts Turnpike.  It appears as though the roads have been cleared by now. News: Man, 4-year-old girl hurt in hit-and-run crash in Worcester

WORCESTER, MA – A man and a four-year-old girl were hospitalized following a hit-and-run collision Wednesday.  The crash happened around 4 p.m. on Webster Street, according to WHDH.  The other driver did not render aid and fled the scene on foot. News: Three-vehicle crash in Freetown leaves two dead, one hurt

FREETOWN, MA – Reckless driving contributed to a multi-vehicle collision reported around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.  The driver of a black Kia Sedona was driving at a high rate on northbound Route 140 and crashed into three vehicles, NBC Boston reported.  The impact caused the minivan to then collide with a tree.  One driver from one of the stuck vehicles sustained minor injuries.  The minivan passenger, a 70-year-old woman, and the driver, a 54-year-old man, succumbed to fatal injuries.  The right lane closed, however; all travel lanes have reopened since.  Police have not revealed the names of the drivers involved or…

News: Driver hurt after crashing into power pole in Hanover

HANOVER, MA – One person was hospitalized following a rollover crash that happened around midnight Saturday.  For reasons unknown, the driver lost control of his or her vehicle and collided with a power pole on the 300 block of Hanover St., NBC Boston reported.  The person was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.  In addition, two additional drivers crashed into utility poles in Malden and Melrose area, as well as the northern part of Billerica.
