The incident took place around 7 a.m. on Charles Street, NBC Boston reported. As seen in video footage, the bus was on the curb and rested upon the house.

The 12-year-old kid was taken to a hospital for a minor back injury. Several students and the bus monitor and driver appear to have been unharmed.

The driver was cited for a marked lane violation and received an additional unspecified citation.
