Massachusetts car accident on interstate injures 1

Interstate accidents can quickly get out of hand because of the pure chaos that usually accompanies them. The high speeds on interstates can play a major factor in the seriousness of an accident. If one of these accidents includes more than one car, the chance of someone being injured is increased. A recent car accident in Massachusetts, involving multiple cars, injured one woman.

The accident occurred on Interstate 93 on Oct. 31. Reports stated that the accident happened around 10 p.m. after a state trooper stopped to help a disabled car that was stuck on the side of the road. Another trooper parked a short distance behind the vehicle and attempted to set out lights to make drivers aware of the vehicles. Following this, a car driven by a 24-year-old man collided with the back of the second trooper’s car. A 20-year-old female then ran into this car and was then, in turn, hit by a man driving a pickup truck.

The 20-year-old female was the only victim injured in the accident. She was transported to a nearby hospital to have her injuries treated. No one had been cited for the accident at the time, but troopers stated that the accident was still under investigation.

Once investigations are complete, the injured woman may be able to seek monetary reimbursement for the injuries she received from the car accident. If restitution is awarded, it could be used to pay medical expenses and to compensate her for any lost wages. A successfully litigated claim could help the Massachusetts woman return to her normal life as soon as possible.
