News: 1 airlifted to hospital after semi wreck in Bolton 

BOLTON, MA – At least one person was taken to a hospital via a Life Flight helicopter following a semi-truck crash on I-495 North Tuesday. 

Upon arrival, Massachusetts Department of Transportation officials and other authorities closed a left lane on I-495 and closed the north and southbound directions to accommodate the Lifeflight helicopter, WHDH reported. 

The southbound directions have opened since. The northbound lanes still appear to be blocked off, so motorists in the area may want to plan for a different route. 

At this time, officials have not revealed the current condition of the person who was airlifted to a hospital or indicated the events leading up to this crash.
