News: 2 die after pedestrian-motorcycle crash near Franklin Park Zoo

BOSTON, MA – Two lives were claimed following a collision involving a pedestrian and motorcycle that occurred south of the Franklin Park Zoo Saturday night. 

Boston Police told NBC Boston that this crash happened near Blue Hill Avenue and American Legion Highway, indicating they arrived at the scene before 10:45 p.m. They confirmed that one occupant succumbed to fatal wounds at the crash site, and another was taken to a hospital, where they were later declared dead. 

Officials did not specify if the deceased victims were two pedestrians, two motorcycle occupants, or if they were one pedestrian or motorcycle passenger. In addition, they have not released the identities of those individuals. 

An investigation has been launched. No additional details have been confirmed at this time.
