News: 2 hospitalized after cars crash into home, pole in Belmont
BELMONT, MA – Two drivers were sent to the hospital when their vehicles collided, resulting in one hitting a utility pole and another crashing into a home Sunday.
This wreck occurred at the Belmont Street and White Street junction before 11:30 p.m., NBC Boston revealed. It was the driver of a Toyota who struck the power pole and a BMW SUV motorist who rammed into a home.
The home sustained some damage, of course. However, no one inside that home was hurt. Still, it is not immediately known as to what led the driver to crash into the house.
In addition, officials have not revealed the current conditions of the drivers (who were only identified as a 28-year-old man from Allston and a 33-year-old man from Plymouth.)
An apartment next to the damaged building had smoke permeate throughout the place after the collision, although there were no reports of injuries or damage.
More information will be posted as it comes to light.
