News: Car flips after striking, downing pole amid Reading snowfall
READING, MA – A car rolled over on Main Street after striking and causing a utility pole to collapse amid falling snow Saturday, NBC Boston said.
On the department’s Facebook page, Reading police shared a photo of the vehicle, which appeared to sustain front-end damage. It can be seen flipped onto its roof in the roadway, a short distance from a fallen wire.
It is not immediately clear whether the snowy conditions were a contributing factor in the crash and if anyone sustained injuries.
The public was asked to avoid the area, as Main Street was shut down from Locust to Birch Meadow.
More details will be provided should they become available.
