News UPDATE: Woman in wheelchair killed in crash near BU Medical Campus

BOSTON, MA – First responders confirmed that the woman who was fatally struck by a snowplow along BU Medical Campus on Wednesday was operating a wheelchair. 

CBS included this new piece of information in an updated article posted after 5 p.m. Wednesday. 

To recap, this collision happened around 3 p.m. at the Albany Street and Massachusetts Avenue junction. The driver of the snowplow (belonging to W. L. French, Jr. Trucking) was said to have been a woman. She remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. No pending charges or citations have been revealed at this time.
