Fatal accidents are always traumatic, but when the victim is a pedestrian the outcome can be even more devastating. A recent pedestrian accident that occurred in Massachusetts illustrates this point. The pedestrian, who was a woman, was killed on July 21, and to make matters worse, she was pregnant. The pregnant woman was killed after she was struck by a car. When first responders arrived at approximately 8:45 p.m., the woman was lying on the ground with life-threatening injuries.
