News UPDATE: Police ID person killed in crash near Boston Int. Airport

BOSTON, MD – On Tuesday, Feb. 6th, Police have released the name of the pedestrian who was killed after getting hit by a vehicle near Boston Logan International Airport Saturday.  Mass Live said that before 5:30 p.m., the pedestrian — 38-year-old Ernest Partin — crossed the Route1A and Addison Street junction when he was struck by a driver.  Partin died from his injuries at the scene. Police, however, did not say if he used a crosswalk at the time of the collision. They did say the motorist remained at the crash site and did not mention any charges at this…

BOSTON, MA – A driver was injured and is recovering in a hospital after their vehicle collided with a Massachusetts State Patrol car along Boston University Thursday.  This collision happened before 11:30 a.m. at the Commonwealth Avenue and University Road intersection, NBC Boston revealed.  Police have not commented on the events that led to this crash nor provided an update on the current condition of the hospitalized individual.  Have you been injured in a motor vehicle collision? News: Pickup truck driver loses life after ramming into Somerset home

SOMERSET, MA – A driver of a gray Chevy Silverado crashed into a home on South Street Sunday, leading them to suffer fatal wounds at the scene.  NBC Boston said this collision happened before 3 a.m. The home occupants were unharmed. A building inspector came to the scene to ensure the integrity of the building was not compromised. WOBURN, MA – First responders rushed two people to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington after a multi-vehicle crash on I-93 South Thursday.  WCVB said this collision happened after 11:30 a.m. They shut down two lanes to launch their investigation, and so crews could remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the scene. FOXBOROUGH, MA – A driver of a car struck a utility pole on Route 140, leading it to fall down and the vehicle to overturn Sunday night.  NBC Boston said that starting at 10:30 p.m., Foxborough Police initiated closures that spanned from Weston to Van Doorn. Officials said the impact of the crash led the vehicle to land on its roof, although they declined to mention if snowy and rainy weather played a role in the crash. EAST BOSTON, MA – A pedestrian succumbed to fatal wounds after they were struck by a vehicle north of Boston Logan International Airport Saturday.  This crash happened before 5:30 p.m. at the Route 1A and Addison Street junction, according to Mass Live.  The pedestrian, whose name was not released, died at the scene.
