Car accidents that involve two cars can be dangerous enough if the wrong conditions are present. However, if multiple cars are involved in the accident, the severity of the aftermath can be drastically increased and victims can be seriously hurt or even killed. Unfortunately, a car accident that involved multiple cars injured two people recently in Massachusetts.

The tragic collision occurred on the morning of Nov. 18 and involved five cars. The cars that were involved rear-ended each other in a chain reaction collision on Route 24. The road was closed to allow police to investigate the accident. This led to major congestion in traffic until almost 8:30 a.m. when the road was reopened.

The collision left two people with head and neck injuries for which they were taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment, but no other injuries were reported. The two victims that reported injuries were 26 and 27 years old. The other people that were involved in the accident were 20, 33 and 62 years old. The current condition of the two injured victims is unknown at this time. Massachusetts police are investigating the accident to try and find the cause of the collision.

Once Massachusetts investigators find out which driver caused the car accident, the two injured victims may have the right to seek compensation for their injuries. Compensation is often awarded a judge to help pay for any expenses that the victim must pay because of the accident. These expenses could include hospital bills and daily expenses while the person is out of work and does not have a source of income.
