Car accidents can occur anywhere — even inside a building

They happen on a daily basis. In almost every city across Massachusetts, car accidents are a constant concern. The majority are minor accidents with only minimal damage to the vehicles and individuals. However, some are more intense and result in serious damage and injury.

The average individual assumes that if he or she is involved in a car accident, it will occur while driving or maybe even walking alongside a road. Perhaps a car will come flying through a stop sign and crash into an unsuspecting car and driver. For two individuals involved in a recent car accident, this was not the case. In this instance, these individuals were enjoying themselves inside a local nail salon when they became involved in a car accident.

Apparently, something happened and a truck plowed into the salon. These two individuals suffered injury and were transported to a local hospital. The truck is a commercial vehicle that was being driven by a representative of that company. It appears that the company, along with law enforcement officers, is now investigating the accident and working with insurance representatives to assess the damage.

While the two injured parties are reported to have suffered only minor injuries, as with the majority of Massachusetts car accidents, not all injuries are immediately evident. Additionally, along with most car accident victims, they will incur medical expenses and most likely other financial challenges such as lost wages while they seek treatment for and recover from their injuries. Many times, individuals find it beneficial to review their legal options to determine their best course of action.
