Commercial vehicles are used all over the United States for various jobs such as transporting goods to picking up garbage. These types of vehicles can be very useful for their respective jobs, but when these vehicles malfunction, dangerous situations can ensue. These situations can leave those involved seriously injured or even dead if the accident is severe enough. Unfortunately, one commercial vehicle accident in Massachusetts recently killed two people.

The accident took place on April 12 after a bucket truck tipped over and caused two workers to fall out. The victims were working on high-tension power lines when the bucket they were in tipped and made them fall over 100 feet before striking the ground. The workers, who were contracted to do the job, were killed instantly when they hit the ground.

No other individuals were injured in the mishap. Investigators stated that it was not windy on the day that the accident took place and the truck appeared to be positioned on sturdy ground when the victims were lifted into the air. The accident is still under investigation.

Once the investigation of the commercial vehicle accident is completed, the families of the two Massachusetts victims may have the right to seek monetary compensation for the tragic loss of life. Compensation could be used to pay for any final expenses of the deceased victims as well as supplement the income of the individuals. Compensation could allow the families to focus on coming to terms with their tragic losses and returning to their normal routines instead of worrying about new bills.
