Fatal car accident in Massachusetts kills 1 unidentified victim

On behalf of posted in Fatal Motor Vehicle Accidents on Thursday February 13, 2014

The short time directly after an accident takes place can be a time of confusion and chaos. The police are attempting to figure out what happened and those who are impacted are attempting to come to grips with what just happened. If someone is killed they must be identified, and then the police has the task of gently telling the person’s family. Unfortunately, this may well be what is taking place after a fatal car accident in Massachusetts took the life of one person.

The accident took place on the morning of Feb. 4 at around 9:30 a.m. between a car and a box truck. Originally it was thought that three vehicles were involved in the accident; however, after further investigation police stated that only two vehicles were involved in the accident. Emergency personnel arrived soon after the accident, but one person was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.

The identity of the deceased victim is unknown at this time and it isn’t even clear which vehicle that person was traveling inside. The accident is still under investigation by Massachusetts officials as they attempt to find the driver who caused the collision. The accident shut down the road for a few hours after it occurred.

Once the investigation of the fatal car accident is complete, the family of the deceased victim may have the right to seek monetary compensation. Compensation could be used by the family to pay for any of the victim’s final expenses. Hopefully, this would allow the family to focus on coming to terms with their tragic loss instead of worrying about new bills.
