News: Boston Police officer hospitalized after crash with sedan
DORCHESTER, MA – A collision between a Boston police cruiser and a sedan on Seaver Street sent a police officer to the hospital Thursday.
WCVB said this wreck occurred after 4:30 p.m. near Elm Hill Avenue. The force of the crash left both vehicles with front-end damage. Airbags in the front and back of the sedan were initiated following the collision, and the police cruiser ultimately came to rest on the northbound side of Seaver Street, facing south.
It is unclear if the sedan driver was injured, but the officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
