News: Crash on Route 24 in Brockton kills moped rider

BROCKTON, MA – A moped rider was fatally injured in a collision with a vehicle in Brockton late Thursday.

According to WHDH, the two vehicles collided as the moped was attempting to change lanes on Route 24 at about 11:30 p.m.

The unidentified male rider was rushed to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. No additional injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

Following the incident, the driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
