BOSTON, MA – A driver of a car crashed into a building on the 182nd block of Florence Street near Healy Field in the Roslindale area Sunday.
Boston Police told NBC Boston they arrived at the scene after 12:30 a.m. They have not revealed what exactly led the driver to crash into the building and did not indicate whether it was a public establishment or private residence that was damaged.
While the contributing factors behind this collision remain unclear, officials did confirm a citation for the driver.
Boston fire crews, the National Grid, and a building inspector also responded to the crash site. The integrity of the building, as well as any sustained wounds,, have not been disclosed at this time.
Police initiated an investigation. No other information is available at this time.
