Car accidents take place every day on the various roads that run throughout the United States, but the majority of these accidents are not severe enough to injure anyone involved. However, if an accident is serious enough, it can leave those involved with serious injuries. These injuries, even if they are not fatal, can change the victim’s life for an extended period of time after the accident takes place. One car accident in Massachusetts recently injured one woman.

The accident took place on the afternoon of May 24 just before 2 p.m. and involved one car and a pickup truck. When the two vehicles collided, the driver of the car, a 21-year-old woman, was injured. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene of the accident and transported the victim to the hospital soon after the vehicles collided.

The current condition of the injured victim is unknown, but the driver of the pickup truck was not injured in the accident. Traffic was diverted from the accident for almost an hour after the accident occurred. The collision is being investigated by Massachusetts police at this time.

If the driver of the pickup truck is found to be at fault for the car accident, the injured victim may have the right to seek monetary compensation. Compensation could be used to pay for any of the victim’s hospital bills and supplement the victim’s income if she is unable to work. This could allow the victim to recover fully before attempting to return to her normal routine since the stress of paying bills would be relieved.
