Car accident in Massachusetts sends 2 to hospital
Car accidents affect millions of people each year, whether it be the victims or the families of those involved in a serious car accident. Nevertheless, there is a possibility for an accident to occur wherever roads are located. Recently, two Massachusetts residents were rushed to the hospital after they were involved in a car accident.
On Aug. 11 at around 2 a.m., a man’s vehicle T-boned a woman while heading north when she was turning left at an intersection. The cars collided so forcefully that the woman’s car was pushed into the parking lot of a nearby store. Several residents of a nearby apartment complex immediately called 911. Soon after the accident occurred, emergency personnel arrived and both drivers were transported to a local hospital.
Both drivers were alone at the time of the accident. Massachusetts police stated that drugs nor alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash. The two vehicles involved had to be towed from the accident site. It was not stated how extensive the injuries of the two involved were.
Depending on who was at fault for the car accident, either one of the Massachusetts residents may have the right to seek reimbursement for their monetary damages. If compensation is awarded, it could be used by the individual to help pay any medical bills that they incur for their time in the hospital or be used to compensate for any lost wages if they are not able to return to work. This could relieve some of the financial stress that situations of this type can cause and perhaps allow the person to fully heal as quickly as possible.
