Motorcyclist injured in Massachusetts accident

On behalf of posted in Motorcycle Accidents on Sunday April 13, 2014

Motorcycles can be a great way for an individual to travel from one place to another. They generally use less gasoline than cars do and are enjoyable to ride. However, if a motorcyclist is involved in a car accident with a negligent driver, it can often have detrimental consequences and can result in serious injuries, or worse. Unfortunately, one car accident left a motorcyclist seriously injured recently in Massachusetts.

The accident took place when the motorcycle and car collided on April 5 at around 5 p.m. The accident, which took place on a highway, left the rider of the motorcycle with serious injuries. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene of the accident and quickly transported the victim to a hospital by helicopter.

No one else suffered injuries from the car accident, but the current condition of the victim is unknown at this time. The highway was closed for almost five hours while the Massachusetts reconstruction team attempted to investigate the accident. The collision still under investigation, but it is not known who may have been at fault.

If the driver of the car is found at fault for the accident that injured the motorcyclist, the victim may have the right seek monetary relief for financial losses sustained. Compensation from a successful claim could be used to pay for the victim’s hospital bills and to replenish his income if he is unable to work while he is recovering from his injuries. Hopefully, compensation could allow the victim to focus on recuperating and slowly returning to his normal routine instead of worrying about unexpected and costly bills from the hospital.
