CHELMSFORD, MA – A collision involving a motorcycle and a car in Chelmsford sent two men to the hospital Sunday morning, NBC Boston said.

Chelmsford Police responded to the crash site – the Princeton Street and Richardson Road junction – before 11 a.m. The force of the collision prompted the motorcyclist, a 31-year-old man, to fall from his bike and come to rest on the ground.

The driver of the passenger car, a 76-year-old man, was hospitalized and released, while the motorcyclist was left in critical condition.

Police have not specified the contributing factors of this crash nor who had the right of way. However, they did say that charges and citations would not be brought.

The public is advised to contact local officials at the phone number listed in the initial source should they have more information regarding Sunday’s collision.
