We have posted several blogs during the past year about pedestrian accidents. There were four in November, four posts in October and ten during the summer months. Pedestrian accidents are regular occurrences and they are often fatal. It was recently reported that pedestrian accident injuries are driving changes in Massachusetts. Elderly driver fatally strikes elderly pedestrian in Quincy

Quincy Avenue in Quincy, Massachusetts has two lanes going in either direction. There are sidewalks on either side of the road, but to cross the road there are widely spaced crosswalks at busy intersections. At 2:45 in the morning, the intersection of Saratoga and Park Streets in Lawrence would probably be fairly quiet.
